Cynthia Salinas is originally from Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico and raised in the city of Chicago. She started her career in Radio Broadcasting in 2001. While studying Television Broadcasting & Production at Columbia College of Chicago she began a one on one apprenticeship with news talk mentor Ken Herrera at CBS Radio. While paying her dues at WBBM 780am/B96 FM she decided to chase her dream of making it big in the great city of Los Angeles and relocating in 2007. Here she interned for the Director of Programming of SALEM Communications Jason Jeffries giving her the opportunity to meet people in the radio industry. With demos in hand, Cynthia was introduced to JDubs the Producer of LA 96.3's morning show in 2009. With hard work and determination by Feb 2011 an opportunity finally came knocking for this Chi City Chic and started interning with LA 96.3 and sister station la Raza 97.9. Shortly after Cynthia was finally given a shot to be an on air host becoming the new weekend chic on LA 96.3. In less than 5 yrs Cynthia was able to achieve her dream here in Los Angeles!.... when asked what's next for her?....she replies ”to make new dreams a reality!"
