SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM – Standard Call In To Win Rules

Official Rules and Regulation

1. No purchase necessary.
2. WHO MAY PARTICIPATE: Any listener, age 18 years or older unless indicated by the individual contest.
3. ELIGIBILITY
   1. Contestants must (i) be at least 18 years of age to participate, (ii) have a valid California Driver’s License, and (iii) have a valid social security number and card, or a valid taxpayer identification number (“TIN”).
   2. Employees of the Station, Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their public relations agencies, participating sponsors and “family” members (“family” is defined as spouse, parents, children, sibling, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents) are ineligible.
   3. One prize per winner from each immediate “family” (“family” is defined as spouse, parents, children, sibling, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents) and/or “household” (“household” is defined as anyone living at the same address) from KLAX-FM and KXOL-FM combined is allowed within a sixty (45) day period.
   4. Any individual who wins $600 (six hundred dollars) or more from KLAX-FM and KXOL-FM combined must provide the Stations with valid identification and a valid TIN or social security card and number, and a valid government-issued photo identification which contains the individual’s current address before any prize will be awarded. Failure to present a valid social security card or TIN may result in a disqualification of the winner, in which case the prize shall be forfeited.
   5. If a winner selected is later determined by the Station to be ineligible, no prize will be awarded to the ineligible contestant and the Station reserve the right to award the prize to a qualified contestant.
4. NATURE OF CONTEST: Listeners will be asked to call in on the listener lines to Station and be the correct numbered caller.  The on-air personality will determine the numbered call sought.  The contestant may be asked to participate in an additional manner, such as, but not limited to, singing the Station jingle or answering a trivia question, to win.  Station shall have no responsibility for any claimed failure or inability to participate, win and/or claim any prize based on allegations of telephone problems.
5. PRIZES: As indicated on-air by the announcer; prizes will vary per contest.
6. RETAIL VALUE: The approximate retail value of the Prize varies up to $1,000.
7. RESPONSIBILITY: Station, Spanish Broadcasting System and participating sponsors will not be responsible for any claims, liabilities, losses, repairs, damage or injuries arising out of or in conjunction with the services, merchandise or other benefits obtained by the winner or this contest.
8. REDEEMING OF PRIZE: All prizes must be redeemed or claimed within ten (10) business days at, Spanish Broadcasting System, 10281 W Pico Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90064. Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
9. RELEASE: All winners must sign a release permitting reasonable use for promotional purposes and all media of the participants, name, likeness and biographical information, and releasing Station, Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. and its affiliates and sponsors from any and all claims, liabilities and damages arising directly or indirectly out of the award of the prize or that may be sustained directly or indirectly in connection with this contest.
10. Any tax, licensing, registration fee or additional expenses incurred as a result of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
11. Prizes may not be substituted or exchanged for cash.
12. Station reserves the right to award additional prizes throughout the contest.
13. Any rule changes after the contest begins must not disadvantage contest participants and will be announced promptly and conspicuously.
14. The name of the listener that appears on the official/original contest sheet is the winner of that particular contest.  Prizes are not transferable and cannot be sold.
15. All questions concerning the interpretation of these rules should be directed to the Station’s General Manager whose decision will be final.
16. The odds of winning will vary depending on the number of qualified participants.
17. A copy of these rules and regulations will be retained and available for public inspection at the Station’s offices located at Spanish Broadcasting System, 10281 W Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064
18. All participants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Station, which shall be final and binding
19. Movie passes given by Station do not guarantee admission at the theater.  Movie passes will be honored on a first come, first served basis as indicated on the passes given by Station.
