Shakira has a lot to celebrate, the music video for “Waka Waka” has over 1 billion views on YouTube.
The video features Shakira shimmying alongside South African band Freshlyground.
“Waka Waka” joins a rarified list of videos, topped by Psy’s “Gangnam Style” with a ridiculous 2.5 billion views, and is just behind Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie,” featuring Rihanna, which has just 4 million more views than “Waka Waka.”
We’re happy that “Waka Waka” is still a massive hit for Shakira, but we need some new Shakira music to dance to.
