¡Gente! The newest team of superheroes is here!
Marvel Studios released the first trailer for the highly-anticipated film, “Guardians of the Galaxy” Tuesday afternoon.
Chris Pratt stars in the film as Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord, who steals a mysterious orb and is on the run from Ronan, the powerful villain, played by Lee Pace. Ronan threatens the universe so Star-Lord must team up with aliens to battle him.
The trailer also introduces other characters in the sci-fi and comedy film such as, Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, Drax, played by Dave Bautista, Rocket Racoon, voiced by Bradley Cooper and Groot, who is played by Vin Diesel.
A sneak-peek of the film was first shown at Comic-Con International in San Diego last year.
“Guardians of the Galaxy” hits theaters on August 1.
