There’s no stopping him, Drake continues a successful 2016, now that it’s been announced that “One Dance” is the first song to reach 1 billion plays on Spotify.
The news came just days after Drake took all three top spots on Apple Music’s year-end charts, with his Views album besting Rihanna’s ANTI, Adele’s 25, Frank Ocean’s Blonde and Justin Bieber’s Purpose to lead Apple’s Top 25 Albums chart.
Drake‘s going into 2017 with eight Grammy nominations and Views has just been certified quadruple platinum in the U.S, an honor marking 4 million units sold with 1,500 streams counting as one certifiable unit.
