2016 OSCAR Nominations

The biggest award show of the year, has finally announced it’s nominations. The OSCARs 2016 nominees can be seen, below.

Coming in at the top is The Revenant with 12 nominations and Mad Max: Fury Road in second with 10. The Actor in a Leading Role category brought in a talented mix of stars with Bryan Cranston, Trumbo, Matt Damon, The Martian, Leonardo DiCaprio, The Revenant, Michael Fassbender, Steve Jobs and Eddie Redmayne, The Danish Girl.

Actress in a Leading Role category is just as star-studded, with Cate Blanchett, Carol, Brie Larson, Room, Jennifer Lawrence, Joy, Charlotte Rampling, 45 Years and Saoirse Ronan, Brooklyn.

In the Original Song category, Lady Gaga (“Till It Happens To You”), The Weeknd (“Earned It”) and Sam Smith (“Writing’s On The Wall”) received nominations. You can see the full list of nominees, below.
