It is Halloween and Day of the Dead week! That means there are plenty of spooky-pumpkin-skull-filled events around town.
So, if you’re still unsure of your Halloween and Day of the Dead plans, here is one that you can add to your calendar.
It is the Dia De Los Muertos 2013 at Olvera Street.
Olvera Street is the place to be this Halloween and Day of the Dead season as the Olvera Street Merchants and El Pueblo Historical Monument present a week-long line up of events.
Between Friday, October 25 and Sunday November 3, Olvera Street will host live entertainment, family activities, banda, folkloric dances, Aztec dance, and art courtesy of Emily Costello along with a Dia De Los Muertos novenario every night at 7 p.m., children’s workshops and community altars.
The events are fun for all ages and completely free!

Stay tuned for tomorrow, when I will give you another celebratory event you can attend.
