At the first-ever YouTube Music Awards on Sunday, rapper Eminem took one of the biggest awards of the night.
Broadcasted live from Pier 36 in New York’s lower Manhattan in what else? YouTube, the awards show let the viewers decide who and what acts got the honor.
Eminem won the Artist of the Year award while Taylor Swift took the YouTube Phenomenon award for her hit single“I Knew You Were Trouble.”
Otros ganadores included Lindsey Stirling and Pentatonix who won the Response of the Year award for “Radioactive,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis won YouTube Breakthrough, DeStorm’s “See Me Standing” won the musician and comedian the Innovation of the Year award and Girl’s Generation won Video of the Year for “I Got A Boy.”
Lady Gaga, Eminem, Arcade Fire, M.I.A and Avicil all performed during the 90-minute award show that was hosted by actor Jason Schwartzman and comedian y musician Reggie Watts.
