It’s happening, Eugenio Derbez is set to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Derbez isn’t the first latino to get a star on the Walk of Fame. Sofia Vergara, Shakira, Javier Bardam, Thalia, Penelope Cruz, Shakira, George Lopez, Ricky Martin, Antonio Banderas, Rita Moreno, Luis Miguel and Mana.
No word on when Derbez will receive his star, but we’re sure it’ll be soon. Talking to media, Derbez had this to say about the recognition:
I’m happy and excited to get the star, I will undoubtedly be accompanied by my family, my children, my wife and close friends.
