Every year when the clock strikes twelve on and a new year begins, many people get engaged.
This year, rapper Eve beat the clock and got engaged before the new year.
Maximillion Cooper, the founder of Gumball 3000 motor rally Eve’s boyfriend since 2011 popped the question to the Grammy Award winner on Christmas day.
On Monday, Eve posted a family photo on her Instagram account in which you can obviously see the sparkling diamond.
“#familytime!!!! Me and my mom and my lil brother Farrod just got to the English country side. Feel so #blessed to be with my family and sharing my life here. I pray that you bring 2014 in with people you #love. And nothing but #good #energy.”
Fans quickly noticed the ring and began congratulating her.
She then went on to Twitter to thank everyone for their wishes.
“Thanku 2 everybody 4 your congratulations on our engagement. We wanted to celebrate with our family and friends 1st b4 announcing,” she said in her tweet.
This will be the first marriage for Eve and the second for Cooper, who has four children with his pervious wife.
