Singer and songwriter Kendrick Lamar sigue en fuego.
Primero, he won big at this year’s Grammy Awards a couple of weeks ago and even made fashion history with the hat he wore.
Then, last week it was announced that he will be performing his hit song “Happy” at Hollywood’s biggest gala, the Academy Awards.
Y ahora, he will be playing at the 2014 NBA All-Star Game.
No, he won’t be competing with or against LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin or any of the NBA’s top players.
Instead, he will be doing what he does best: performing!
The 40-year-old will be performing during the player introductions and bring out some special top-secret guests.
Pero, he won’t be the only musical artist enjoying all the fun.
R&B and soul singer Janelle Monae will be performing during the game’s halftime show along with Earth, Wind & Fire, Dr. John and Gary Clark Jr.
Hip hop star Kendrick Lamar will be performing before the Sprite Slam Dunk contest the day before.
The 2014 NBA All-Star game will take place February 16 in New Orleans. The game will air live on TNT at 8:00 p.m.
