Two music icons unite for what is sure to be an unforgettable collaboration.
Maná‘s 1992 hit, ‘De Pies A Cabeza’ is getting an updated urban version thanks to Nicky Jam. The Mexican rock band and the reggaeton superstar, have teamed up to record a new version of the hit single. Rumor has it the song will premiere on Friday, August 5th.
Back in June, Nicky and Mana posted that they we’re in the studio working on some music. Now we know that it’s an updated urban version of “De Pies A Cabeza.” This is what Nicky said about the collaboration:
I’ve always wanted to work with Maná, I’ve been a fan of them since I started singing reggaeton in 1992. They were already my idols and today they continue to be. I never thought I’d work with them so this is a blessing.
Nicky Jam is currently on The Fenix Tour in Latin America while Maná is set to kick off their Latino Power Tour in the U.S. on Sept. 9 in San Diego. The trek is being billed as a call to Latinos to go out and vote in the upcoming presidential election in November.
