Mark your calendars! The Sir is returning!
After almost 50 years, Paul McCartney will be taking on the field at Dodger Stadium otra vez.
It has been announced que the former Beatle will perform at Chavez Ravine for one night on August 10 como parte de su worldwide tour “Out There”.”
“The ‘Out There’ tour, as always, features music from the most beloved catalogue in popular music, as Paul performs songs spanning his entire career- as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle,” read the press release announcing the event. “The set list will also include material from Paul’s most recent studio album NEW, a global hit upon its release last year.”
Los Doyers also made the announcement on the Jumbotron during last Friday’s game against the Rockies.
It will be the first time McCartney performs at the legendary stadium desde que los Beatles performed there in 1966.
También será the first time the 71-year-old singer gives a concert in L.A. since 2010 when he performed two nights at the Hollywood Bowl.
The event will be a double treat for fans ya que they will also get to see the Dodgers play after the concert.
Tickets will go on sale May 5 and start at $25.
