Following a lawsuit against Pitbull‘s production company, PDR Productions, Inc., over disclosure of his contract with Visit Florida earlier this week, the Miami-born rapper took to Twitter to release his million-dollar contract with the tourism company.
Pitbull shared details of the contract saying, “It’s been an honor to represent Miami and the Sunshine State” — after House Speaker Richard Corcoran filed the lawsuit, claiming Pit’s contract with Visit Florida contained “trade secrets” on Monday.
He added, “I’ve taken Miami and Florida worldwide — way before any contract, and will do so way after. I love my home state. When asked to take on a New Year’s show, I insisted it be live from Florida. #LOVEFL since birth and till I die. Dale!”
According to the legal documents, the Latin Grammy and Grammy award-winning artist was paid $1 million dollars to promote Florida.
