In true Hollywood fashion, the red carpet was rolled out for President Barack Obama as his plane landed in Mexico and he walked into the limousine that was waiting for him Wednesday morning.
The President is in Toluca, Mexico for a one-day summit with North American Leaders.
The purpose of The North American Leaders’ Summit or also known as the “Three Amigos” Summit is for the leaders of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico to come together and discuss issues of interest to the three countries.
U.S. President Barack Obama, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper have gathered to talk about trade, education, border security and stopping drug trafficking.
A big portion of the summit will be focused on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) among the three countries, which is turning 20 years old this year.
The agreement has expanded commerce among the three countries, but some say it needs an upgrade considering the current global environment.
