Bachata has taken over this year’s Billboard Latin Music Award nominations.
The nominations for the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards were announced Wednesday morning y bachata’s two leading men: Romeo Santos y Prince Royce are among the top finalists for the prestigious reconocimiento.
Romeo Santos leads the way with a total of 17 nominations, the most any artist received this year, including “Artist of the Year,” “Producer of the Year,” y “Composer of the Year.”
His colleague, Prince Royce follows very close behind with 16 nominations including “Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Make,” “Latin Pop Song of the Year” for “Darte Un Beso,” y “Social Artist of the Year,”
Los dos will also be competing against each other in several categories como “Digital Song of the Year,” “Latin Pop SOngs Artist of the Year, Solo,” y “Hot Latin Song of the Year.”
