We know what one “Modern Family” star is going to be thankful this Thanksgiving. The big chuck of money she made this year.
Actress Sofia Vergara, who plays Gloria in the hit ABC comedy, made a whopping $30 million this year, placing her on top of Forbes’ List of the Highest-Paid TV Actors for the second year in a row.
She earned more money than any other TV actor, male or female.
Looks like that whole “men make more money than women” thing doesn’t exist in the TV world.
Vergara makes about $175,000 per episode on “Modern Family,” about the same as her co-stars and the rest she makes from endorsements such as Diet Pepsi and Cover Girl and her clothing line at Kmart.
As for the highest-paid male TV actor, Ashton Kutcher took the title making $24 million between June 2012 and June 2013, still $6 million short of Vergara.
Rounding out the top 5 highest-paid TV actors are Jon Cryer also from “Two and a Half Men” with $21 million, Ray Romano with $16 million and Mark Harmon from “NCIS” with $15 million.
