Spanish Rapper Arkano Sets Guinness Record For Longest Rhyme

Spanish rapper Arkano has set a new Guinness World Record for non-stop rap improvisation, rhyming for 24 hours, 34 minutes and 27 seconds in Madrid’s central Puerta del Sol square.

The coolest past is that Arkano only gave himself 3 second breaks between the songs and he only drank liquids.

Arkano’s rap started in the afternoon on Oct. 28, just two weeks after L.A. rapper Murs set a record rapping for 24 hours and 15 minutes.

The Longest Rap Freestyle time was previously held by Chiddy, known as part of the hip hop duo Chiddy Bang, for his 9 hours, 16 minutes, and 22 seconds session in 2011.

We wonder if Twista, the guy that raps really fast in the “Overnight Celebrity” song will take on this challenge and go up to 25 hours rapping. Now that would be a really interesting battle.
