Jedis, get ready porque the cast of the next Star Wars chapter has been uncovered.
Please welcome to the galaxy far, far away Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
They are the new cast of “Star Wars: Episode VII.”
Joining them are John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Issac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis and Max von Sydow.
“We are so excited to finally share the cast of “Star Wars: Episode VII,” said J.J. Abrams, director of the film. “It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again.”
Abrams added that filming for the highly-anticipated movie begins in a couple of weeks.
“Everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud,” he said.
Ford is sure to please fans with his performance as iconic character Han Solo while Hamill and Fisher will be playing fan-favorites Luke Skywalker and Princes Leia.
It is speculated that Driver will be playing the villain.
“Star Wars: Episode VII” is scheduled to be in theaters December 18, 2015.
