The wait is over!

Ricky Martin’s contribution to the 2014 FIFA World Cup soundtrack is finally here!

On Tuesday, the Puerto Rican popstar released the music video for “Vida,” a song written especially for this year’s World Cup y que aparece en the official World Cup album titled “One Love, One Rhythm.”

The song is the winner of the “SuperSong” competition in which Martin teamed up with Sony last year to give fans around the world the opportunity to compose a song for the global event.

The track is very energetic and has a very tropical feel to it.

It also looks very tropical.

For the music video, Martin spent three days in Río de Janeiro where he was joined by approximately 100 people including dancers, kids, models and samba artists to be part of the cast.

“Me divertí muchísimo viajando y grabando en Brasil,” said the 42-year-old singer in a press release. “Es un sentimiento increíble el poder tener la oportunidad de participar en una iniciativa global como lo es el SuperSong. Estoy emocionado de finalmente poder interpretar ‘Vida’ y compartir esta canción tan especial con el mundo”.

“Vida” is the third song out of the album’s 17 singles to be revealed. In the last several weeks leading up to the world’s biggest sporting event of the year, songs like “We Are One (Ole Ola) by Pitbull and “The World Is Ours” by Aloe Blacc have already come out.

“One Love, One Rhythm” will be fully released on May 13 pero “Vida” is already available to purchase as a single on iTunes for $1.29.
