California High Patrol officials said five teenage students and three adults were among the 10 people killed in a bus crash in Northern California. The bus driver and a FedEx truck driver were also killed. At least 33 other people were injured.
The students were on their way to visit Humboldt State University in Arcata when the bus and a FedEx tractor-trailer collided on the Interstate 5 Freeway north of Highway 32 near Orland.
The California Highway Patrol said the FedEx truck was traveling southbound on the 5 freeway , when it crossed the median and collided with the northbound bus. The Flames spread so fast and so high it became instantly unstoppable, Officers said..
