Hitmaking singer/songwriter/producer Akon is facing a $39,000 lawsuit for breach of contract. Akon is being sued by lawyers who’s firm he hired last year.
TMZ reports that the Senegalese singer hired the firm Yoss but didn’t pay them $39,363.74 for legal services. The firm is now suing him for failing to pay. Akon has filed a counterclaim.
Reportedly, Akon is simply asking that the judge dismiss the case.
“Hey Judge! I’m rich as hell, but can you dismiss the case?”
